BRAC Systems Racing Team had a great weekend at the 2006 Canadian Nationals at Edmonton’s Stratotech Park. BRAC Systems supported 7 drivers during the weekend including Blake Choquer, Bryce Choquer and Blair Gautschi from BC, Nick Campbell and Rachel Campbell from Manitoba, and Hugo Ouellette, Pierre-Luc Ouellette and Dennis Yasar of Montreal.
Right from the start of the weekend Dennis Yasar in Rotax Senior, Pierre-Luc in the DD2 and Bryce Choquer in Canada Jr. all qualified on pole position. The skill didn’t end there. Most of the BRAC Team ended up with solid podium finishes and victories through out the heat races and finals.
In the Finals Pierre-Luc lead the BRAC Team to a strong victory in the DD2 class. Pierre will be representing Team Canada in the DD2-Rotax class at the 2006 World Finals in Portugal this November.
In the Rotax Sr class. Hugo Ouellette and Blake Choquer finished 2nd and 3rd and will be joining Pierre-Luc in Portugal to race in the Rotax International class. Pierre-Luc also finished 4th in the Rotax Sr. class. Dennis Yasar unfortunately had a lap one accident. At that time he was the fastest contender to have taken the 32 year and over class. After the accident Dennis was okay and congratulated the BRAC Team after the race.
In Canada Jr. Bryce Choquer had a great end to the weekend by finishing in 3rd place. At the start Bryce fell back to 6th position and worked hard to get back up to the front. In his first Nationals this is a huge achievement for him and he has gained valuable experience for future races.
“I am so proud of how well BRAC Systems Racing Team did at the Nationals. It was great to see all of our drivers do so well and have a great time. With the World Finals coming up in Portugal November 14 we will get some major worldwide exposure for BRAC Systems products. As more and more of society becomes aware of BRAC Systems benefits both to the consumer and to our environment one day BRAC Systems will make a major impact on the worlds fresh water consumption. This has been a great starting year for Team BRAC and I am very excited for the 2007 season” said Dennis Yaser.
